The 2026 foaling season has already begun at Herdade da Mata, bringing with it one of the most special times of the year.

Each foal is the result of months of planning, dedication and care. From the very first days of life, we prioritise a peaceful and natural environment, where mares and foals develop in a balanced way.

Raised in spacious surroundings and in daily contact with nature, our horses grow up in freedom, socialising and acquiring the essential foundations for their development.
